Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival
This is a festival known for a great lineup of heavy bands. Mayhem usually runs the first part of the summer with Uproar running during the second part of the summer and early fall. There's usually a main stage with the bigger name bands and a second stage with smaller bands. The second stage is a great place to check out some up and coming musical talent!

Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
The Uproar Tour is sort of a sister tour to Rockstar's Mayhem Festival tour. Uproar usually takes place in late summer and early fall, ending shortly after Labor Day. The bands on Uproar tend to be a little more mainstream than Mayhem, meaning they actually get radio play. Uproar is another great tour to check our talented up and coming bands.

Avalanche Tour
The Avalanche Tour is a spring tour featuring several bands. I'm not sure if the tour has a regular sponsor, but in 2012 it was sponsored by Zippo.
The tour is a little smaller -- fewer bands than Uproar or Mayhem -- but the bands are a little more established. They also seem to be more hard rock than heavy metal.
